February 2008 - The 2008 Turboprop Expo will expand the program offerings to include specific seminar tracks for King Air and Turbo Commander operators. These specific airframe programs will coordinate with the engine and component seminars common to most turboprop equipped aircraft.

New Features Added for 2008

In response to feedback from our attendees and exhibitors we’ve added and improved our offering for 3 days of the 2008 Turboprop Expo. Some of the additional offerings are

  • Expanded concurrent seminars
  • More networking offerings to including a second night cocktail reception and a real western themed BBQ dinner option on the patio

New Seminar Offerings

2008 will see the introduction of airframe and related seminars for operators. Adding to our core seminar offerings of the PT6 and TPE 331 engines the airframe series will key on operational and maintenance issues as well as upgrades and modifications and key airframe components.

Plans are also in process to present information for those that who may be considering their first turboprop aircraft purchase in areas such as Operational, Maintenance, Insurance, & Training.

Presentations will be made by recognized experts in each area of interest.

The Turboprop Expo is pleased to announce that we will host an exhibit from the King Air Foundation at the 2008 Turboprop Expo. The King Air Foundation is restoring LJ-1, the first King Air built, to factory new condition. The day was October 30, 1963 as LJ-1 rolled off the line. 45 years and a lot of history behind it LJ-1 will soon enter it’s new roll as an international ambassador for children’s charities.
